Susan McQuinn is Flute Professor at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida. Formerly professor of Flute at Stetson University, the University of Central Florida and Daytona Beach State College McQuinn is also Music Director at New Life Christian Fellowship in Titusville and has performed with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bach Festival Orchestra and the Space Coast Symphony.
 
She holds a BM and MM in flute performance from the University of NC at Greensboro, and completed 11 years of postgraduate study with Geoffrey Gilbert of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. 
 
McQuinn has served on the Board of Directors of the National Flute Association and two terms as President and on the Board of the Florida Flute Association.
She has been a winner in the NFA Newly Published Music Competition and has performed at numerous NFA conventions as a soloist and with Wye’s Guys and Tour de Flute.
 
Ms. McQuinn is an adjudicator for the Florida Bandmasters Association and has performed solo and chamber recitals in Europe, Mexico and throughout the US including a New York solo debut at Carnegie Recital Hall. 
 
McQuinn is an Altus Flutes Artist.
